HEREFORDSHIRE'S ONLY HORSE RACING PUB

Traditional pub food and Sunday carvery in Hereford

4.4/5Very goodBased on 373 reviews

Herefordshire's first and only horse racing themed pub and restaurant, in the heart of Hereford in a Grade II listed building.

Inside you will find genuine equestrian memorabilia from some of horse racing's most famous, including Grand National winning silks. We work closely with Wye Valley Brewery and local horse owner Mark Blandford, who let us rename a familiar premium ale in homage to his racehorse: Plenty of Butty.

Great stories at the bar

The Sunday carvery gets singled out again and again: quality meats, unusual seasonal veg and portions generous enough that people plan to make it a regular thing.

It is a small, characterful spot, and regulars say that is part of the charm. The advice that comes up most often is simple: book ahead so you are not disappointed.
